Opal Weiler

June 24, 1935 — June 22, 2008

Opal Charlene Weiler, age 72, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 22, 2008, at Westview Manor Retirement Community. Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor M. Dean Hammond officiating. Opal was born June 24, 1935 in Ivydale, West Virginia to Clarence and Mary Friend. She married Harold E. Weiler on June 12, 1955. She was a member of Parkview Church of Christ, Wooster, Ohio. She is survived by two sons, James E.(Miriam)Weiler of Dowington, Pennsylvania. And Timothy S. (Christine) Weiler of Rittman, Ohio; one grandson, James Weiler; three granddaughters, Lauren, Gina, Lisa Weiler; three brothers, Paul Friend of Akron, Ohio, Marshall (Roanne) Friend of Wadsworth, Ohio, Leo (Jackie) Friend, Longville, Louisiana; two sisters, Hazel(Clarence)Nicholson, Wooster, Ohio, Faye (Donald) Baker, Shreve, Ohio; two brothers-in-law Bonny (Orleana) Murphy, Wooster, Ohio, Bryan Griffith, Summersville, West Virginia; Numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Opal formerly worked at Sears and Walmart in Wooster and Walmart in Dover. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters, and a sister-in-law.
