David Hill, 72, of Ashland, passed away July 2, 2011 in Florida, after a lingering illness.
David was born, Paul David Hill, in Southern Ohio in July 1938.He worked as a union painter and in general construction.He retired from Mansfield Correctional Institute after many years of service in the maintenance department.He liked to remodel houses and work on cars.He was able to fix most anything.He enjoyed traveling and most of all his Dobermans.
David is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Janet (Donelson) Hill, his daughter Barbara Keithly and a grandson, Andrew Keithly, both of Hawaii, a sister Norma Mufson of Georgia and her son Eric Mehl of Mansfield.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father.
A memorial service will take place on August 18, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the Ashland County Memorial Park Mausoleum, 1058 US Rte 250, Ashland, OH.Casual Attire.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association,P.O.
