Paul Mellott

Paul E. Mellott, 66, of Orrville died Monday, August 25, 2008 at Dunlap Memorial Hospital in Orrville.Friends may call one hour prior to the service at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel.Services will be Thursday at 2:00pm at the funeral home with the Pastor Eric Fairhurst officiating.Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.Online tributes may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com .

Paul was born September 19, 1941 in Southern Ohio to George Mellott and Nellie Tiber.

Paul retired from Rexroth Corporation after many years of service.He had been a member of the Westwood Baptist Church.He loved fishing, woodworking and working with his hands.

Paul saved his brother David’s life, by donating his stem cells.

Paul will be deeply missed by his children James (Catherine) Mellott of Orrville and Michelle Flores of Youngstown; grandchildren Eric, Rachel, and Michael Mellott, Elyzabeth Flores and Angelina Pagan; great-grandchildren Jordyn and Evan Mellott, brothers Roger Mellott of Columbus, George Mellott of Wooster and Bill Tiber of Bellaire and a sister Eleanor Mellott of Cleveland.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, an infant sibling, brothers David and Robert and sisters Vivian, Virginia, Martha and Linda.
