Pauline Idella Miller, 83, of Wooster, died Wednesday, March 28, 2007, at her residence. ?Private graveside services will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens with Pastor Adam Granger officiating. ?There will be no calling hours. ?Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster, is handling arrangements. ?Online tributes may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com. ?In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
Pauline was born September 13, 1923 in Apple Creek, to Franklyn P. Sr. and Violet I. (Messner) Short. ?She married Roy P. Miller on September 5, 1942. ?He survives.
She was a homemaker and did volunteer work for her church. ?She was a member of Parkview Church of Christ, where she played the organ for many years. ?She enjoyed fishing, bowling, gardening, playing the organ, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pauline will be deeply missed by her husband; sons Jerry R. Miller of Laguna Woods, Calif., Larry W. Miller, Philip P. (Janet) Miller, and Terry G. (Debra) Miller, all of Wooster; grandchildren William, Heidi, Jeremiah, Jonathan, Michelle, and Stephanie; great-grandchildren Jason, Josh, Natasha, Jordan, Kaitlyn, Trevor, and Tyler; great-great-grandson Colton; brothers Franklin (Vesta) Short, Jr. of Marshallville, and Nevin (Lois) Short of Orrville; and sister Etta (Dick) Yenne of Wooster.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Warren, Jim, and Wilbur Short; and sisters Bertha Hofstetter, Beulah Boldman, Grace Hooley, and Gladys Porter.
