Peggy A. Oberholtzer Akins, 71, of Wooster, died Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at her residence. Private services will be held at the Roberts Funeral Home - Sherwood Chapel with the Rev. Clyde E. Ondrizak officiating. Burial will follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.There will be no calling hours.

Peggy was born October 21, 1936 in Big Prairie to Clark E.and Maxine M. (Austen) Oberholtzer. She married Donald Akins August 21, 1955. He died November 10, 2007.
She worked for Akins Plumbing and Heating Inc. for 5 years and at Hal Franks Reality for 16 years.She enjoyed setting up crafts at craft shows with her husband and daughter.
Peggy will be deeply missed by children Joan (Kenny) Flinner and Douglas (Paula) Akins both of Wooster; grandchildren Jason (Jennifer) Flinner, Courtney (Doug) Drown both of Wooster, Kristy (Brent) Ruckman of New Albany, Rachael (Rob) Sukel of Piqua, and Nick Akins of Columbus; great grandchildren Cale, Owen and Kennedy; brother Dick (Jeanette) Oberholtzer of Wooster and special friends Pat Ferguson, Lisa Miller, and Hal and Peggy Franks all of Wooster.
