Peter Simko, 68, of Wooster died Sunday, March 23, 2008 at Wooster Community Hospital. Per Peter's wishes, there will be no services. ?Inurnment will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. ?Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is handling the arrangements. Peter was born May 29, 1939 in Lorain, Ohio to John and Mary (Kos) Simko. ?He graduated from Miami University in 1961. ?He served in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War. ?He married Margaret Rufo on October 24, 1964.
He worked for American Greetings in Cleveland, Ohio retiring in 2004. ?He had been a member of St. Hilary Church in Fairlawn and had recently attended St. Agnes Church in Orrville. ?Peter enjoyed traveling and working sudoku puzzles.
Peter will be deeply missed by his wife, children Beverly (Robert) Simko Olmsted of Olga, Washington San Juan Islands and Nancy (Robert) Simko Hibjan of Clermont, Florida, a brother Dr. George (Roberta) Simko of Oberlin and a sister Charlotte Ross of Mentor.
Peter was preceded in death by his parents and a brother John Simko, Jr
