Phillip Landers

Phillip Bernard Landers, 74, of Clinton passed away Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Barberton Citizens Hospital in Barberton after a brief illness. He was born March 24, 1937 in Akron to Willie Thurman and Bessie Pauline (Milraney) Landers. and married Margaret Leann Phares on January 1, 1965. Phil was a former employee of Ohio Edison and retired after 40 years of service. He then became owner of the Reliable Micro Computer store in Norton. Phil attended Norton Grace Brethren Church and enjoyed computers and woodworking.



Phil will be deeply missed by his wife Leann, sons Rodney (Kathy) Landers of Clinton, Michael (Christy) Landers of Norton, Doug Landers of Clinton, grandchildren Noah, Brady, Jesse and Kara. He was preceded in death by a half brother, Lynn Herrell.



Funeral services will be Monday, November 7, 2011 at 12:00 at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville with Pastor Robert Combs officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Sunday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home
