R. Lee Dotson, 75 of Wooster, died September 14, 2007 at the Cleveland Clinic. ?Friends may call Monday from 6 to 8 pm at the Roberts Funeral Home - Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Services will be Tuesday at 11am at the funeral home with the Pastor Dan Wingate officiating. ?Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster. ?Online tributes may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com. ?

R. Lee was born April 26, 1932 in Cleveland, VA to Clovis and Myrtle (Williamson) Dotson. ?He attended school in Cleveland, VA and joined the US Army in 1950, serving in Korea. ?He married L. Jeanette Stephens in 1952.
He worked for International Paper 12 years and retired from Babcox and Wilcox after 25 years of service. ?
He was a member of the West Hill Baptist Church. ?He liked to travel and camp and do a little fishing. ?He also enjoyed listening to gospel and country music and was an avid baseball and football fan. ?He was a member of the American Legion in Wooster and a life member of the VFW in Perrysville.
R. Lee will be deeply missed by his wife; son William Dan (Gloria) Dotson of Sterling; grandsons Scott Dotson, Brian (Kristen) Dotson; great-granddaughter Kaleigh Ann Dotson; sister Anna Jean Hutchinson of TN; many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Ed and sister-in-law Elizabeth Dotson.
