Raymond E. Hendrix, 79 of Wooster died Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at his residence with his family by his side. Friends may call Saturday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel. There will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to defray expenses. Ray was born May 23, 1929 in Monroeville, Ohio to Harrison O. and Emma (Thomas) Hendrix.
He married Peggy Brown on December 12, 1971.
Ray was a truck driver for 35 years, retiring in 1992. Following his retirement he worked with his wife Peggy, at Peg’s Drop-off Laundromat . He enjoyed working in his yard, gardening, construction and camping.
Ray will be deeply missed by his wife, 3 boys, 4 girls, 16 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild and 3 sisters.
