Raymond Dean Lake, 75, of Shreve, died Saturday, January 10, 2009, at the Wooster Community Hospital. Memorial services will be Saturday at 11am at the Highland Church of God, with the Rev. Mark A. McCord officiating.Burial will be at Newkirk Cemetery. Online tributes may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com . Dean was born July 16, 1933, in Shreve to Carl H. and Pearl (Smail) Lake. He attended The Big Prairie Schools, and was never married.He was a life long farmer. He attended Highland Church of God. He enjoyed tractor pulls and and attending the Wayne County Fair.

Dean will be deeply missed by his long time companion Eloise Bowman of Wooster, nephew Ron (Nancy) Daugherty of Shreve, great nieces Kathleen Ferrara, Jennifer (Wolfgang) Meyerin, and great nephew Rodney Daugherty.

Dean was preceded in death by his sister Dorothy Daugherty.
