Raymond A. Plogger, 83, of Wooster, passed away Monday, May 3, 2010 at Horn’s Nursing Home in Wooster. Friends may call Thursday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.
Services will be Friday at 2:00pm at the funeral home with Pastor Eric Fairhurst officiating.

Ray was born April 28, 1947 in Ronceverte, West Virginia to William E. and Bessie E. (Thompson) Plogger. He married Maizie E. Stone on August 11, 1947.
She passed away July 26, 1999.Raymond served in the U. S. Air Force during WWII.
He worked for U. S. Crown Divisions of TransPro, Inc. for 24 years and retired in 1989.
He enjoyed gardening and mowing grass. He loved spending time with his family.
Raymond will be deeply missed by his children Beverley E (Brian) Graybill of Wooster and Mary E. Bretz of Killbuck, grandchildren Rebecca L. Friend of Morgantown, West Virginia, Melissa Ann Rule of Wooster, Julia C. Marino of Morgantown, West Virgina, Miranda and Derrick Hofacker both of Wooster, 9 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, Preceded in death by his wife Maizie, brothers Robert, William, Melvin and Elmer Plogger and sisters Cecil Dowdy, Correne Dowdy, Bertha Vint and Beitrice Linthicum, Vallie McCormack and Aleice Robinson.
