Rev. Fred Pfeiler

Reverend Fred H. Pfeiler, 75, of Medina,went to be with the Lord on December 27, 2010 after an extended illness. He was born in Willoughby on the Lake, Ohio, April 2, 1935 to Fred and Margaret (Graves) Pfeiler, Fred lived in Chicago for 27 years and then pastored the Boston Community Church in Boston Township, Ohio for 10 ½ years. He also founded and counseled with Christian Life and Counseling for 23 years. Fred was a loyal fan of the Chicago Bears and Chicago White Sox. We know he is now walking the “Streets of Gold with our Lord Jesus”.



Fred is survived by his wife of 40 years, Patricia (Kovach) Pfeiler, his children Kathy Gura of Lakewood, Diane Dolbow of Kent and Fred A. Pfeiler of Brunswick, along with 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren all living in the area, sister Kay Zemar of Cornell, Michigan and brother Howard Pfeiler of Brookpark, Ohio.



A memorial service will be held January 9, 2011 at 2 PM at Valley View Chapel with Pastor Armand Tiffee officiating. Donations in Fred’s memory may be sent to Living Hope Church in Medina or Hospice of Medina County. Online tributes may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com .
