Richard K. Bennett, 78, of Wooster died Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at his residence.
rivate family services will be held at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel with Pastor Mike Stern officiating.
Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.

Richard was born January 22, 1932 in Cleveland to Kermit K. and Linda Irene (Morgan) Bennett. He married Shirley A. Nussbaum on April 18, 1954. She died October 14, 2003.
Richard served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked for Ideal Dairy from 1953 to 1966. He then worked for Smith Dairy Products Company in Orrville retiring in 1993 after 22 years of service.
Richard will be deeply missed by his daughter Susan K. (Michael) Neel of Wooster, grandchildren Richard K. Neel and Keith A. Neel and a brother Harry J. (Ilene) Bennett of Wooster. In addition to his wife Shirley, Richard was preceded in death by his parents. The family would like to thank the Wayne County Kidney Center for their loving care.
