Richard Fargo
June 26, 1938 — December 7, 2009
Richard A. Fargo, 71, of Burbank went home to be with the Lord Monday, December 7, 2009 at Wooster Community Hospital.
Dad has really missed our Mom and once Jesus showed him a glimpse of heaven he chose to go back to his real home there.
Thank you Dad/Grandpa for teaching us these biblical principles by example- overcome evil with good, forgive if you also want to be forgiven, work hard at living in peace with others, love one another and give all the glory to God.
Dad frequently recited 2 Corinthians 5:7 – “To be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord”.
We sure are going to miss him.
But, as believers, we know our separation from both Dad and Mom is only temporary.
We are thankful to God for blessing us with such wonderful parents and sharing them with us for as long as he did.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 2:00P.M. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster, with Father Steve Moran and Pastor Mike Oxendine officiating.
Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call Friday from 4:00P.M. to 7:00P.M.at the funeral home.Online tributes may be made at

Richard was born June 26, 1938 in Cleveland, Ohio to Andrew and Josephine (Wisniewski)Fargo.
He married Patricia Ann Phillips on August 29, 1959.
She went home to be with the Lord September 10, 2008.
He worked at Miller Brothers Super Value in Lodi for 14 years.
He considered the folks (co-workers and customers) at Miller Bros. to be his second family and his caring and detailed attention to customer service brought them back time and time again.
If you’ve been to the store, chances are you know our Dad.
He enjoyed meeting people and they seemed to be drawn to his witty sense of humor, which he never lost.
We appreciate all the hard work he did for our family and countless others.
Richard will be deeply missed by his children Richard M. (Denise) Fargo of Rittman, Pamela S. (Nolan S.) Kimble of Creston, Teresa F. (James) Osivnik of Barberton and Angela D. (Douglas A..) Bem of Creston, grandchildren Nathan, Tim and Bethany Fargo and Noah Bem, a sister Carol (Grant) Kaurich and brothers John (Beverly) Fargo and Andrew (Diane) Fargo.
In addition to his parents, a sister Joanne Bell and a brother Michael Fargo died previously.
