Richard E. Smith, 55, of Shreve died Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Joel Pomerene Memorial Hospital in Millersburg.?Friends may call Monday from 4pm to 8pm at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.?Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11am at the funeral home with Rev. Richard was born August 18, 1955 in Medina to Woodrow and Vera (Marty) Smith. He married Linda Bower on January 4, 1974.
He worked at Grace Automation/Pride of the Hills for 11 years.?Richard was a member and a hunter safety instructor for Shreve Sportsman Club, member of?NRA, and North American Hunting Club.?He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.?He was "Mr. Fix It."
In addition to his wife Linda of 36 years Richard will be deeply missed by his children Peggy Smith, Seth Smith and Karen Smith all of Shreve, brothers Jim (Terri) Smith of Florida, John and Harrold Geiselman Jr. both of Shreve and sisters Patti Andrasko of California, Nancy Kidd of West Virginia, Elaine Ware of West Salem and Becky Guthrie of Orrville.
Richard was preceded in death by his dad Woodrow and Grandpa Sam.
