Robert A. "Bob" Byrd, 57, of Wooster died Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at his residence.
Services will be Saturday at 2:00pm at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel with Pastor Jack Byrd officiating. Bob was born October 16, 1949 in Leatherwood, Kentucky to Harold and Martha (McDaniel) Byrd. ?He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. ?Bob married Cynthia Sigler on May 3, 1980. ???He worked for Wooster Motor Ways for 19 years. ?He was a member of the American Legion in Jeromesville and a life member of the Am Vets. ?Bob enjoyed hunting, NASCAR, his motorcycle, and spending time with his family.
Bob will be deeply missed by his wife, children Christina Byrd of Canton, Robert Byrd II of Wooster and Valarie (Andy) Curran of New Philadelphia, 12 grandchildren, his father of Wooster, brothers Gary (Sherry) Byrd of Wooster and Rick (Kathi) Byrd of Apple Creek; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
