Robert L. Deeser, 82 of Wadsworth, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Barberton Citizens Hospital. Services will be Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Steven Carter officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Robert was born January 15, 1928 in Canton to Alfred and Lillian (Brogan) Deeser. He worked for the B & O Railroad, Russ Brogan Excavating, and John Formoski Excavating. He was also self-employed selling firewood, milling lumber, raising beef cattle, and putting in yards and gardens.He loved family get togethers, raising cattle, gardening, fishing, hunting and target practice. He also loved his horses and dogs.
A devoted husband, father and grandfather, Robert will be deeply missed by his wife, Esther, daughter Linda (Nelson) Nichols of Medina; sons David (Becky) Deeser of Doylestown and Victor (Becki) Woodward of Wendell, SC; grandchildren April Stiver, Shelly Starling, Robert Scott Deeser, Jenifer Hunt, Shannon White and Cory Izzo; brother John Deeser of Stilt, CO; sister Betty Craig of Wooster; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
