Robert Miller

Robert “Bob” Bertram Miller, 66, of Rittman, formerly of Sterling and Wadsworth, passed away on Sunday, August 26 at Akron City Hospital. Services will be Friday at 2:00 PM at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Kevin Seager officiating from Valleyview Chapel in Wadsworth. Friends may call one hour prior.



He was born August 17, 1944 in Pine Grove, PA to John Uriah and Jenny Edna (Jones) Miller. Bob married Becky Marks on September 19, 1981 and she survives. He was employed by Babcock and Wilcox of Barberton for 45 years. Bob loved gardening, fishing and spending time with his family. He enjoyed coaching Little League and was an avid Braves and Colts fan. Bob liked playing Pogo.



In addition to his wife, Becky, Bob will be deeply missed by sons Robert Bertram II and John Anthony both of Rittman, and sisters Mary Lou Miller of Myerstown, PA and Pauline Jones of Pine Grove, PA, father in law Donald E. Marks, Sr of Pullman, WV, sisters in law Donna King and Debbie Marks both of Washington, WV, Jerri Coss of Rittman, aunt Jerri Cox of Rittman and Shane Radabaugh II of Rittman who Bob raised and several nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
