Robert Wegner

Robert “Bob” Paul Wegner, 54, of Ashland, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Akron City Hospital, in Akron Ohio.

Bob was born March 17, 1956 in Cleveland to Robert Alfred and Elsie ( Wahl) Wegner.

Bob was formerly employed at Landoll’s and Sun Printing. He enjoyed fishing, watching action movies, rock music and woodworking.

On October 4, 1996, Bob married his wife Sandra Barker, who survives.

Also surviving are four children, Michelle (Michael) Leto of Mt. Orab, Chuck Wegner of Norwalk, Marty (Talisha) Wegner of Lorain, and Cari (Andy) Shelly of Ashland; 6 grandchildren, Sarah, Sophia, Xayver, Amaree, Eliza and Corren; brother, Bernie Wegner of Monroeville; sister, Ingrid McCaman of Wadsworth; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father; an infant son, Paul M. Wegner; sister, Linda Ivanic; and brother, Helmut Wegner.

Funeral services will be Monday September 13, 2010 at 11:00 am at the Roberts Funeral Home, Ashland Chapel, 1058 US Rte 250 W. Ashland, OH, with Pastor Adam Drinkard officiating.
