Roma D. Booth, 85, formerly of Wooster went home to be with the Lord Thursday evening, November 27, 2008 at his step-daughter’s residence in Massillon.Services will be Sunday at 3:00PM at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster, with Pastor Harold Ross, Jr. officiating.Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, where military rites will be held.Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.Online tributes may be made at

Roma was born April 12, 1923 in Chloe, West Virginia to Early and Rose Almira (Jarvis) Booth. He married Flora Ross on July 9, 1943.She died in 1995.He then married Isabel Aman on February 21, 1997.
He proudly served his country in the U. S. Navy during WWII.He was a member of the American Legion Post 68, Wooster and the VFW of Wooster.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Isabel of Massillon, sons R. Lee (Betty) Booth of Apple Creek, Michael (Linda) Booth of Wooster, Paul (Alice) Booth of Orrville, Rick (Patti) Booth of Rittman and Larry Booth of Wooster, daughters Karen Collins of Wooster, Wanda (Mac) McLaughlin of Massillon and Debbie (Donnie) Miller of Apple Creek, step-children Helen Bloch of Massillon and Karen (Robert) Loase, 33 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and sister Dorleen Wiehl of Marietta.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 52 years Flora Glades (Ross), a son Marvin Varis Booth, Sr. and 4 grandchildren.
He will be deeply missed by all who love him.
