Ronald L. Harrod, 76, of Orrville, died January 17, 2010 at Orrville Pointe Nursing Home in Orrville.
Services will be Wednesday at 2:00pm at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster withMinister Val Burgett officiating.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Entombment will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.

Ronald was born March 30, 1933 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Victor and Goldie (Corbet) Harrod. He married Joan Swerens on September 17, 1973. She survives.
He served in the U. S. Navy. He loved farming, gardening and taking care of his cattle. He was a member of the Living Church of God.
Ronald will be deeply missed by his wife Joan, brother Melvin (Gladys) Harrod , sister Janet (Fred) Balzer, brother-in-laws John “Jack” (Kathleen) Swerens, Ron (Mary) Swerens, nephew Keith (Linda) Balzer and niece Vivan (Barry) Doublestein.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents.
