Ronald P. Phillips, 54, of Wooster died Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center in Canton. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 11:00am at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Pastor Regis Sullivan officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the sevices. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.

Ron was born November 16, 1954, in Ligonier, Pennsylvania to Joseph Paul and Sarah Kathryn (Frye) Phillips. Ron was an avid Cleveland sports fan. He worked for Gertenslagers for 20 years.
Ron will be deeply missed by his soul mate Pam Copley, son Brandon (girlfriend Erica Weber) Phillips of Wooster, grandchildren Preston and Joshua Phillips, nieces April Yockey, Erin, Lauren, and Mariah Phillips, nephew Jared Phillips, and brother Larry (Kerry) Phillips of Wooster.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents and sister Kathy Phillips Yockey.
