Rosie Lea Ash, 79, of Wadsworth, died Saturday, May 20, 2006 at Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital. Services will be Thursday, May 25 at 11:00 am at the Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Wednesday, May 24 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Online tributes may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com.
She was born October 23, 1926 in Spencer, West Virginia to Ralph and Cora (Prine) Fox. She married Jesse W. Ash on November 10, 1944 and he preceded her in death in 1992. She was a homemaker, a member of Liberty Freewill Baptist Church and loved gardening and her grandkids.
She is survived by sons Lewis (Sue) Ash of Wooster, Willard (Virginia) Ash of Smithville, daughter Shirley (Marvin) Armbrust of Wadsworth, ten grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters. Her parents, daughter Carol Ritchey, grandson Bobby Armbrust, four brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
