Roy C. Woodruff, 53, of Wooster, died Sunday, November 9, 2008 at his residence in Wooster.He passed away after a long, tough battle with cancer.
Roy was born April 18, 1955, in Wooster to Roy S. and Pauline (Gentry) Woodruff. He attended Wooster High School. Roy married Diana J. Arnold on April 28, 1975. He loved hot rods and fast cars.He was a driver for the Daily Record.
Roy will be deeply missed by his wife Diana; children Rodney (Ronda) Woodruff, Robert (Rachel) Woodruff and Roy D. Woodruff all of Wooster; grandchildren Carly and Amber Woodruff; step-grandchildren:Lakin, Landon, Lawrence, Chase, Madison and Autumn;mother Pauline of Wooster;brothers Randy (Kathy) Woodruff, Rudy (Bonnie) Woodruff and Richard Woodruff;beloved dog Sonny. He was preceded in death by his father; brothers Rex and Ronald and sister Crystal.

There will be no services. Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel is handling the arrangements.
