Ruth Burcaw, 65, of Ashland, passed away on Monday, February 18, 2008, at North Central Hospice House in Ashland.
Ruth was born September 21, 1942 in Boaco Nicaragua to Guillermo and Teresa (Alonso) Arce. ?Ruth married Robert Burcaw on July 27, 1963. ?They were married for 44 years. ?Robert survives.
Ruth was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church in Ashland, and St. Vincent de Paul Society. ?She enjoyed all kinds of dancing including square dancing. ?She was an avid reader, loved to travel and go for long walks.
Ruth will be deeply missed by her husband Robert and daughter Diana Burcaw currently serving in the U.S. Air Force.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, sister Mabel, and brother Guillermo.
Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, February 22, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Edwards Catholic Church, ?501 Cottage, Ashland, with Father James Cassidy officiating. Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park. ?Roberts Funeral Home - Ashland Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
