Ruth C. Lambert, 86, of Wooster died Thursday December 6, 2007 at West View Manor in Wooster. ?Private services will be Monday at 1:00pm at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Pastor Clyde ?E. Ondrizek. ?Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens where military rites will be observed. ?There will be no calling hours.

Ruth was born February 3, 1921 in Leighton, Pa. to Jack and Augusta (Rogal) Brennan. ?She was a graduate of Mt. Sinai School of Nursing in Philadelphia, Pa.
She served as a 1Lt. in the U.S. Army Corp of Nursing during WWII and was stationed in Liverpool, England. ?Ruth married Leslie Lambert May 12, 1945.
She continued her career in nursing as an RN and taught nursing at Mansfield General Hospital and Wooster Community Hospital where she retired. ?She enjoyed boating on Lake Erie, her pet Schnauzers and baking the most delicious cookies during the holidays.
Ruth will be deeply missed by children George (Peg) of Wooster and John (Jill) Lambert of Ashland, grandchildren John and Shane Lambert of Jacksonville, Florida, Seth Lambert CT1 U. S. Navy, Kelly Lambert of Madera, California and Chelsea Lambert of Ashland.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Leslie Lambert and a brother George Brennan.
