Ruth Marie Moore, 72, of Wooster, died Friday, July 29, 2011 at her residence with her family by her side.
Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Services will be Wednesday at 11 am at the funeral home with Pastor Eric Fairhurst officiating. Ruth was born February 13, 1939 in Wadsworth to Albert and Hazel {Hoff} Woyat.
She worked for K-Mart for 30 years. She enjoyed traveling, going to casinos, gardening and playing bingo with family members.She attended the Madison Hill Auction frequently. She was an excellent cook. She loved spending time with her family.
Ruth will be deeply missed by her lifelong companion of 35 years Howard Prager; children Don Moore, Dave (Cheryl) Moore, Bev Dixon, Matt Moore, Kris Moore all of Wooster, Myrna (Todd) Farriss of Dalton; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers Ivan & Kenny; sisters Gladys, Martha, Louise, Lucille, Millie, Irene, Barb, and Rosie.
Ruth was preceded in death by her brothers Glenn, Ira, and Charles and daughter-in-law Bonnie.
