Ruth L. Riley, 86, of Wooster, died Tuesday, September 12, 2006, at Smithville Western Care Center. ?A memorial service will be Saturday, at 11:00 a.m., at Wayne Manor Chapel with Paul Beichler officiating. ?Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted. ?Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wayne County, 2525 Back Orrville Rd., Wooster, OH ?44691. ?Online tributes may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com. ?
Ruth was born July 13, 1920 in Cleveland to Percival and Arline (Arndt) Jones. ?She married ?Maynard Riley on Sept 7, 1939. ?He survives.
Ruth worked for American Greetings and Sherwin Williams.
A long time member at the Christian Science Church, where she was a speaker, Sunday school teacher and librarian. ?Ruth also enjoyed gardening.
In addition to her husband, other survivors include, children James W. (Diane) Riley of Cleveland, Barbara (Wayne) Moore of Ashland; daughter-in-law Pam Riley of Chicago, IL; and 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and a sister Virginia Gilland of Phoenix, AZ.
A son Donald L. Riley and brothers Willard and Bob Jones died previously.
