Sandra Haehner

Sandra “Sandy” Faye Haehner, 59, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away Thursday, November 18, at her residence. She was born July 27, 1951 in Alcoa, TN. to Ralph and Rachel (Freeman) Mealer. She earned a Master’s degree in Education from Akron University. Sandy married Raymond Haehner on July 19, 1990. She had been employed at the Summit County Educational Service for ten years and retired in 2005. Sandy was a member of The Church in Akron and enjoyed shopping, cooking and sewing. She loved chocolate, especially Peanut M&M’s and loved her grandchildren and cats.



Sandy will be deeply missed by her husband Raymond, of 20 years, daughter Bridget Doyle (Steve) Pearson of Seattle, grandchildren Alia and Vincent Pearson, son Steve (Melanie) Haehner of Cuyahoga Falls, grandchildren Nicole and Tyler Haehner, twin sister Linda (Orian) Williams of Akron, nephews Gabe and Orian Williams, Jr. brothers Steve Mealer of Wadsworth, and Ivan Mealer of Brecksville, sister Betty Stouffer, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents and brother Ralph Mealer, Jr.



Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Wadsworth, OH at 330-334-1204. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com .
