Scott A. Mykrantz, 51, went to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on Thursday, June 11, 2009, at his home with his family by his side.
Scott was diagnosed with liver carcinoma in April.
Masonic services will be Sunday, June 14, 2009 at 1:30 PM at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster where friends will be received from 2:00PM-5:00PM.
Celebration of Life services will be Monday, June 15, 2009 at 11:00AM at Oak Chapel United Methodist Church, 4203 W. Old Lincoln Way, Wooster, with Pastor Stephen Olsen officiating.
Private interment will take place at the convenience of the family.

Scott was born September 24, 1957 in Wooster, the son of Harry and Ann (Stults) Mykrantz, and married Anita Carl on May 27, 1978 in Wooster.
She survives.
He and his family attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
He was owner and operator of SMC Business Communications, which he started 20 years ago and just recently transitioned to an LLC so that his business would continue.
Scott was an avid gun enthusiast and hunter.
He was president and one of the founding members of Brokenlock Longrifles Gun Club in Smithville. A 1976 graduate of Wooster High School, he was a member of the 1976 Symphonic Band that toured Europe.
Scott enjoyed being active in his daughters’ lives such as serving as a parent volunteer for Wooster High School Band. Scott was also a lifetime member and Past Master of Ebenezer Lodge #33 F. & A.M. in Wooster.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are two daughters, Meg and Katie, both of Wooster; his father Harry (Rachel) of Wooster; his twin brother, Stuart (Cindy) of Wooster; sister, Rita (Tom) Trivette of Greer, South Carolina; his younger twin brothers, Jon (Christine) of Wooster and Rex (Diane) of New Albany; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother.
