Sharon was born December 22, 1954 in Martin, Kentucky to Charlie Mulkey and Sylvia (Akers) Kochheiser.
On August 7, 1971 she married the love of her life, Larry Martin.
Sharon worked for Kno-Ho-Co Headstart for 15 years.She loved to read.She enjoyed crocheting, spending time with her family and friends, camping at Howard’s house, fishing for catfish, and good southern cooking.
In addition to her husband Larry of 39 years, Sharon will be deeply missed by, her children; Beverly (Bud Arter) Martin, Christina (Mike) Clark, and Kevin (Kelly) Martin all of Ashland, her grandchildren; Logan, Brandon, Brittany, Kevin, Kyle, Kennedy, Kylee, Corbin, Kelsi and Kaylin, her brothers; David (Diane) Mulkey, Daniel (Ronda) Mulkey, Dale (Kathy) Piatt, her sisters; Charlotte (Don) Martin, Emma (Lenny Quinn) Patterson all of Ashland, father; Howard (Dardnell) Kochheiser of Lucas, Aunt Josephine Beaver of Galion, and uncles; Lee Akers and James (Katherine) Akers of Floyd County, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 2:00pm at the Roberts Funeral Home, Ashland Chapel, 1058 US Rte 250 W. Ashland, OH.Friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park.Online tributes may be made at
