Shaun D. Mills, 35, of Ashland, went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, May 20, 2012.
Shaun was born on July 5, 1976 to Edward A. (Tom) and Charlotte (Richert)Mills. On March 18, 2011 he married Katie Tovey, who survives.
He was a 1995 graduate of Ashland High School and the Joint Vocation School.He was the owner/operator of Mills Towing in Ashland.He had previously been employed at Ashland Castings and was the owner of McGuyver Home Improvement.Shaun was a man with a heart of gold and always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed it.
In addition to his wife, he will be deeply missed by his mother, Charlotte; sister Kim (Rick) Campbell of Ashland; brother, Richard (Tammy) Mills of Greenwich; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; his four legged children, Tia Marie and Chloe; and a multitude of friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, an infant brother, Edward A. (Eddie) Mills II, maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents.
Per Shaun's wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral.A Celebration of Life will take place at 4 pm Thursday, May 24, 2012 at EastGate Bible Church on Holbrook Ave. with Pastor Nathan Wells officiating. Private graveside services will take place at a later date.Burial will be at Vermillion Cemetery in Hayesville. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray the costs to the family.
