Stanley D. Cholley, 54, of Wooster, died Tuesday, November 7, 2006 at Horn Nursing Center. ?Services will be Saturday at 1:00pm at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Pastor Bill Eshelman officiating. ?Online tributes may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com. ?Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Greater Wayne County, 2525 Back Orrville Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.
He was born January 3, 1952 in Wooster to Joseph Cholley and Phyllis (Greegor) Cholley Collins. ?Stan attended Northwestern High School and graduated from Wooster High School. ?He was a self-employed stone mason and concrete worker. ?He enjoyed music, woodworking and spending time with his friends.
Surviving is a brother Steve (Tina) Cholley of Wooster, a nephew Kyle (Carrie) Cholley, nieces Jennifer (Shawn) Moore and Heather (Shane) Giauque, stepfather Harold Collins of Apple Creek, aunts Connie (Kenny) Justice, Dorothy (Cliff) Matz both of Wooster and Therese (Raymond) Parr of Mentor, and special friend Cynthia Smart of Orrville.
His parents and brother Jay Cholley died previously.
The family would like to give their special thanks to the staff of Horn Nursing Center.
