Stanley F. Zintek, 79, of Wooster, died Thursday, March 30, 2006 at Glendora Health Care Center, Wooster. ?Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster, with Rev. He was born June 20, 1926 in Salamanca, NY to Stanley Edward and Florence Theresa (Ambuske) Zintek. ?He married Geraldine Rau on June 12, 1954. She survives.
He served in the Coast Guard during WWII at age 16. ?He then graduated from Salamanca High School in 1947. ?He retired from the Ford Motor Company on July 1, 1983, after 31 years of service. He was a member of the American Legion, enjoyed traveling, cars, trains, attending the U.S.S. Bayfield reunions, and spending time with his family.
Surviving in addition to his wife are children Donna Marie Zintek of Olmsted Falls and Dana (Lisa) Zintek of Cuyahoga Falls.
His parents and sisters Helen Nitsche and Rita Gongol died previously.
