Thelma Puckett, 92, of Holmesville died Monday, December 31, 2007 at Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg. ?Friends may call Thursday from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. ?Services will be Friday at 11:00am at the funeral home with Rev. Thelma was born July 9, 1915 in Versailles, Kentucky to John Russel and Carrie Ottis (Brandenburg) Peggs.
She married Calvert Puckett on July 3, 1940. ?He died on December 16, 1990.
Thelma was a nurse's aide in Danville, Kentucky, was a member of the Westwood Baptist Church where she worked with Bible School. ?She enjoyed working outdoors, fishing, horseback riding and spending time with her family.
Thelma will be deeply missed by her children Patricia (Constantine) Tropoulos of Sterling, Virginia, Phyllis "Annie" (Rick) Goch of Killbuck, Nancy (David) Cartwright of Jeromesville , Drena (Robert) Braden of Oberlin, 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
Thelma was preceded in death by her husband and a brother Elmer Peggs.
