Theodore “Ted” Trikilis, 64, of Chippewa Lake passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at Elyria Memorial Hospital after suffering a heart attack on Saturday, January 24. Memorial services will be Tuesday, February 3, at 7 P.M. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel with Pastor Larry Keener officiating.
Born in Canton on July 22, 1944 to Nick
and Genevieve (Argiry) Trikilis, Ted graduated from Wooster High School and attended Kent State University. Ted was Co-founder of Pro Arts in Medina, creators of the famous Farrah Fawcett poster, which is displayed in the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, DC. His proudest achievement was continuing his father’s work in the air and water purification business, marketing the Aranizer TM line of equipment. Ted was a published auther with Simon and Schuster, an avid winning gambler of cards and computer games, was an intelligent, generous, kind man who loved fishing and will be sorely missed.
Beloved husband to Io, he leaves behind older brother Mike Trikilis of Akron, loving sister Paulette (Dennis) Lorincz of Wadsworth, many nieces, nephews and friends. His parents preceded him in death.
