Umbert P. Noletti, 86, of Wooster died Sunday, November 11, 2007 at Horn Nursing Center in Wooster. ?Funeral Services will be Friday at 11:00am at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel with Pastor Bill Eshelman officiating. ??Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. ?Friends may call Thursday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the funeral home.

Bert was born July 6, 1921 in Wooster to Dominic and Maria Elia (Coccia) Nolletti. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1942-1945. ?He married Marjorie L. Moore on April 17, 1943.
He was a member of Destroyer Escort Service Association, USS Merrill and USS Breckridge. ?Bert and Marge ran Noletti's Bakery from 1947-1984. ?He worked part time at Buehler's Milltown bakery department from 1984-2004. ?He enjoyed fishing and outdoor activities in his leisure time.
Bert will be deeply missed by his wife, children Nancy (Kenny) Wise of Burbank, Sandy Noletti of Dover, Judy Franks of Wooster, grandchildren Angela (Ben) Vail of Birmingham, Alabama, Bradley (Julie) Oliver of Westfield Center, Ohio, Jennifer McCarthy of Apex, North Carolina, great-grandchildren Benny Vail, Max Hamilton and Jenna Oliver, sisters Dorothy Rayburn of Wooster, Angelina "Toots" Zapalla of Long Island, New York; several nieces and nephews; and living shipmates of The USS Merrill.
He is preceded in death by a sister Theresa Torlone and a brother Eugene Noletti.
