Velma I. Eicholtz, 90, of Wooster died Friday, November 10, 2006 at her residence. ?Graveside services will be Monday at 1:00 p.m. at the Sherwood Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Glenn J. She was born March 15, 1916 in East Union Township to Otto and Elva (Beam) Forrer.
She married William Eicholtz on June 15, 1946. He died in 1972.
She was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ. ?She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, gardening and volunteering at the church.
Surviving are children Karen (Jim) Saurer, Robert Eicholtz all of Wooster; grandchildren Leslie and Eric Eicholtz, Heather Kleimann, Susan Stevens, Clayton Fribley, Kevin Zuercher; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters Viva Shoup of Ashland, Vesta Kendall of Wooster, and Vera Ellis of Seville.
A son Dale Fribley, grandson Ray W. Fribley, and brothers David Forrer, Dorance Forrer died previously.
