Vesta Virginia Kendall, 92, of Wooster, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2012. Friends may call Tuesday, May 15, 2012 from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Art Carr officiating.Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
Vesta was born January 30, 1920 in East Union Township, Wayne County to Otto O. and Elva E. (Beam) Forrer.
She married Paul D. Kendall on June 18, 1944.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, quilting, and gardening.
Vesta will be deeply missed by her children, Paula Louis of Wooster, Pat (Chuck) Sword of Wooster and Dan Kendall of Wooster; grandchildren Lisa Sachariat (Jeff Greene) of North Carolina and Stacy Sachariat (Mike Ramsey) of Apple Creek; great-grandchild Makayla Ramsey; many step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; sister Vera Ellis of Medina and many nieces and nephews.
Vesta was preceded in death by her husband Paul Kendall; brothers David and Dorance Forrer; sisters Viva Shoup and Velma Eicholtz.
