Virginia Marie Jackson, of Ashland, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2007 at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Ashland.
She was born January 12, in New London to Riley and Maude (Martin) Granneman. ?She married Richard Jackson on December 27, 1955.
Virginia retired from Faultless Rubber after 41 years of service. ?She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She will be deeply missed by her husband Richard; daughter Patricia (Scott) Matthes of Ashland; grandchildren Jessica Waugh, Melissa Waugh, and Jennifer Whyel; great-grandchildren Noah Kocher, Harlee Plummer, and Dakota Plummer; half-brother Leo Francis of Ashland, sister Doris Francis of Willard, numerous brother and sister-in-laws, and many friends.
Virginia is preceded in death by her mother and father, brothers Lawrence, Lowell, and Paul; sisters Margorie, Juanita, Dorothy, and Mary Belle.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 20, at 11:00 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home - Ashland Chapel, 1058 U.S. 250 West, Ashland with Pastor Joe Keim officiating.
Interment will be at Ashland County Memorial Park.
Friends may visit with the family 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, August 19, at the funeral home.
