Virginia Luellen Veres, 78, of Ashland, died Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at Samaritan Hospital in Ashland.
She was born April 11, 1929, in Bosco, Kentucky, the daughter of Jay and Polly Ann (Bentley) Scarberry who preceded her in death.
Virginia was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and quilting. ?She was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church.
Virginia will be deeply missed by her children Joseph Veres of Ashland, Michael (Robin) Veres and Timothy (Dee) Veres of Columbus, and Shirley (Richard) Myers of Ashland, 21 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren, two brothers, and one sister.
Along with her parents, Virginia is preceded in death by three brothers and great-grandson Ryan Gibson
A celebration of life memorial service will be held for family and friends on Saturday, July 14, 1:00 p.m. at Cahn Grove Park on Cleveland Ave. in Ashland. ?Memorial contributions may be made to Roberts Funeral Home -- Ashland Chapel, 1058 US Route 250, Ashland, OH ?44805.
