Vonda L. Smith, 88 of Wooster, died Tuesday, February 09, 2010 at Smithville Western Care Center.
Friends may call Friday from 11am to 1pm at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will be Friday at 1 pm. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.

Vonda was born July 28, 1921, in Peel Tree, WV, to Roy and Lona Lea (Pritt) Morrison.
She married Haymon E. Smith on December 17, 1939. He passed away on June 1, 1996.
Vonda was a member of the 1 st Baptist Church in Seville. She loved cooking, enjoyed reading, and spending time with her family.
Vonda will be deeply missed by her children; Betty (John) Smith of Wooster, Jeanne (Dallas) Purdum of Wooster, Allen (Linda) Smith of Wooster, Lynda (William) Croft of NC, daughter-in-law Judy Wise of Marshallville; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; brother Roy (Esther) Morrison of Apple Creek; sisters Violet Boso, Maxine Jeffers, and Vera (Larry) Gamertsfelder all of Wooster; several nephews and nieces.
Vonda was preceded in death by her parents, son Chuck, and brother Robert.
