Watt McDonald

Watt David McDonald, 85, died Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at Akron City Hospital. He was born March 12, 1922 in Athens, Ohio to John and Frances (Haley) McDonald and he married Hazel Moore on August 19, 1946. Watt was employed by PCA for 46 years, retiring in 1987, was a member of Grace Brethren Church and enjoyed fishing, playing cards and bird watching. He served in the US Army during WWII.



Watt will be deeply missed by his wife Hazel, daughter Stacy (Alan) Flaisman of Rittman, daughter in law Judy McDonald of Rittman, grandchildren Bonita (Larry) Covey, and Kyle McDonald of Rittman, great grandchildren Darian and Austin Covey and Justin and Alyssa Flaisman, and brother Harold McDonald of York, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Theresa Starr Hunter and son W. David McDonald, Jr.



Funeral services will be Saturday, December 29, at 1:00 PM at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel in Wadsworth with Pastor Bud Olszewski officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 PM on Friday at the funeral home.Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens where military rites will be held. Online tributes may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com.
