William "Bill" Caskey Brown, 88, of Doylestown, died Monday, October 29, at Justin T. Roger Hospice Care Center in Fairlawn. Bill was born February 11, 1919 in Wooster to Charles S. and Florence (Caskey) Brown. He married Maxine L. Miller on February 9, 1946.
Bill was an Army veteran serving in WWII, taught at Wooster Business College and was a CPA. He attended United Church of Christ and United Methodist churches both of Doylestown. He belonged to Wooster Lions Club where he served as Treasurer, and enjoyed boating and golf.
Bill will be deeply missed by children William (Lisa) Jr., Bradley M. (Cindy), Brian (Deanna) and Bob, grandchildren Craig, Kevin, Chet Nikki, great-grandchildren Mikaela and Aidan and special friend Mary Bragg. He was preceded in death by his wife Maxine in July of 2004.
Memorial services will be Friday at 2:00 PM at the Doylestown United Methodist Church, 153 Church St, Doylestown with Rev. James Humphrey and Carl Dulin officiating. A private inurnment will held at Sherwood Memorial Gardens with military honors. Memorial contributions may be made to Justin T.
