William H. "Bill" Pearson, 74, of Wadsworth, died at Wadsworth-Rittman Health Systems on Monday, April 21, 2008. Services will be Friday at 11:00 at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Ray Sanders officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
Bill was born August 27, 1933 in Mckeesport, Pennsylvania. He was adopted and raised by his grandparents, Harold and Esther Pearson. Bill was employed by Consolidated Freightways for 25 years where he retired. He loved racing, vintage cars and watching football, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Bill is survived by his wife Joan Ileen King whom he married April 13, 1981, and children Dennis Berg of Clearwater, FL, Daniel (Michelle) Berg of Holly Springs, NC, and Nicole (John) Dyer of Wheelersburg, OH, grandchildren William Pearson, Kristianne Pearson, Christopher Berg, Idalis Berg, Michael Berg, Alexia Berg, Katelyn Berg, Hailey Berg, and Dallas Dyer, three great-grandchildren, sister Janice Hastings and childhood friend Earl Jordan. He was preceded in death by his parents and ?son, William C. Pearson.
