Yolanda "Yodie" ?"Lala" Turner, 43, of Wooster, died Friday January 26, 2007 at the Cleveland Clinic. ?Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2:00pm at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster, with Pastor Walt Jordan officiating. ?Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. ?Friends may call Tuesday from 1:00pm to 2pm at the funeral home.

Yolanda was born June 18, 1963 in Springfield, Massachusetts to Lorenza L. and Gladys (Strickland) Turner. ?She graduated from Wooster High School in 1980 and attended Central State University and the Wooster Beauty College. ?She was a member of Covenant Ministries of Wooster and had previously worked for Rubbermaid. ?She enjoyed cooking, baking, and spending time with her family.
Yolanda will be deeply missed by her daughter Taylor Turner of Wooster, her mother Gladys Turner of Wooster, sisters Juanetta Romaine of Wooster and Lana Turner of Akron, one niece Tanai Cannady, four nephews Juan and Branden Howard, Tavon Cannady and Terrell Turner, aunts and uncles Shirley (Turner) Greer, ?Marleen Turner, Lelia (Charles "Nannie") Moore, Selisha (Jordaam) Khaliduddin, Donald ?(Deborah) Turner, William (Mae) Strickland, Retha Morris, Robert Lewis "Buddie" Strickland, Arthur (Josephine) Strickland and Gloria Wagner.
Yolanda was preceded in death by her father Lorenza and uncles Preston and Lawrence Turner. ?There will be a dinner for family and friends at the Second Baptist Church, 245 S. Grant St., Wooster for family and friends following the service.
