Janet Rickett

Janet Marie Rickett, 65, of Ashland, went to be with the Lord Friday, June 3, 2022, at Wooster Community Hospital.

She was born January 23, 1957, in Morgantown, WV to Donald and Marie {Lawrence} Corley.

She attended Wellington High School and graduated from Lorain County Community College. Janet enjoyed gardening, crafting, baking, reading, and walking to the library.

Janet will be deeply missed by her daughters Patty (Mike) Moskal, Rachel (Kevin) Shinsky, Christina (Brenden) O’Hare, and Jamie (Brian) Wilson; grandchildren Justin R. Monticue, Hannah M. and Gracey M. Moskal, Cody L. Elsten, Owen A. Sherrill, Natalee M. Penn, Kali M. and Emmalene A. Foster, Kian A. O’Hare, Kelly M., Payton J., and Ean J. Wilson; sisters Joyce (Don) Wheeler and Theresa (Bryan) Young.

Janet was preceded in death by her father, Don, mother Marie (Sidney) Newberger; siblings Diane Corley, Ronald Corley, and Danny Corley.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 18 from 1 to 4 pm at the Shinsky residence, 7700 Brandon Lane, Homerville. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
